Introducing Clazzio Seat Covers

We here are Kyoei USA are proud to announce that we now offer Clazzio Seat Covers. These are custom to fit each vehicle. Whether you want to cover our old, worn out seats or you are looking to do a custom interior, Clazzio can have you covered. They offer PVC with leather and suede inserts as well as other custom options like colored stitching, custom designs, and colored inserts. Clazzio’s tough materials are treated with anti-bacterial and deodorant coatings. They are highly flame resistant, yet they come with up to 15mm of memory foam in the seat section to keep you comfortable. If that isn’t impressive enough, so much thought has gone into the design and construction that these will work with airbags. The special thread used will separate upon the deployment of the airbag. 5th Annual Autofashion VIP Festival 2011

As if SEMA week wasn’t enough, we also had the pleasure of attending Autofashion’s VIP Festival this year. We drove into San Diego Saturday night after leaving Las Vegas that morning. This was the third year Kyoei attended and I know I speak for all of us here when I say that we had a blast. We met a lot of new people and saw some familiar faces. Unfortunately the weather did not fully cooperate and it rained throughout most of the day but it reminded us on how the Japanese can still produce a ton of VIP cars at a show on a rainy day. Now that is real dedication. So we decided that a little rain was not going to scare us a way. In the end, the rain didn’t stop many from coming out and staying because the turnout was huge. Cars were parked all along the street on both sides and there were still many cars in the parking lot next to and across the street from the shop. We want to thank Autofashion, the rest of the sponsors, and everyone else who helped make it happen for continuing to put on this awesome show each year and we are looking forward to making a bigger presence at next year’s show. Kyoei USA’s LS400 SEMA Show 2011 Debut

Well, the SEMA rush has finally settled and we’re all home safely. It was a hectic week and a busy road to get there, but we made it happen without any real struggles. We’d like to thank all of our friends and extended family out in Vegas; Crew45, Squad One, and everyone else we met who helped make this a memorable trip for all of us. Aimgain VIP Kit for Aristo JZS160/JZS161 Lexus GS

Aimgain just released the VIP kit for the Aristo JZS160/JZS161. This kit is smooth and accentuates the stock body lines of the car nicely without adding too much flair, all while adding a bit more class (not that the GS isnt classy enough as is). The kit consists of front bumper, rear bumper, side skirts and also has other pieces available as options such as, trunk spoiler, roof spoiler, fenders, grill and fog lights.
For those of you wondering, this kit is also available for the Celsior.UCF20/UCF21 as well as the Celsior UCF30/UCF31.

Kyoei USA Fine Tuning Spacer Kits

We are very excited to bring you some of our very own “fine tuning” spacers. Our current prototype spacers are 1mm and 2.2mm (to be replaced with 2mm) thick and available in 5×114.3 (5×4.5) and 5×112 bolt patterns. Future plans include 1.5mm and 4mm spacers as well as additional bolt patterns if we get the demand. Currently the spacers will are available in 1mm and 2.2mm thicknesses. We will be releasing some more info in the near future on availability and pricing. For now, we will be looking to give away a few sets for testing to our friends on Facebook. So if you want to be one of the first lucky ones to have these, then “like” us on our FB page and hit us up.

When it comes to wheel fitment, every millimeter counts. This is true for the wheel fitment junkies whose goal is to be as low and wide as possible. But that is not the only use for spacers. Sometimes you need that extra millimeter or 2 to clear your brake calipers without pushing your wheel too far out with a large bolt on spacer and creating a clearance issue with your fender. In other cases, just when you think you have your fitment down to a T, you realize that you can afford to go a few millimeters more aggressive and that it will make all the difference in your stance. This can occur from left and right chassis differences as well as variation in body work if you’ve ever had fender work. In short, these fine tuning spacers will help with the following:

- Front and rear caliper clearance
- Make up for the left and right chassis differences and fender clearances due to body/fender work
- Perfecting Fitment
- Test Fitting

Spacer specs:

- 5×114.3 (5×4.5) / 5×112 bolt pattern
- Accepts 12mm studs for 5×114.3 and/or 1/2″ studs for 5×112
- 73mm inner hub diameter & 145mm outer diameter
- Available in 1mm, and 2.2 mm wide (prototypes)
- 6061-T6 Aircraft Aluminum
- Waterjet accuracy and precision

RS-R Ran Up Oil Additive

We are very excited to introduce to you RS*R’s new Ran Up oil additive. It will be available for sale very soon so be sure to contact us if you are looking to purchase some. Retail price will be around $50 per bottle but the good news is that the bottles will be about twice as big as our samples pictured below. Now we all know there are tons of products out there that promise everything in a bottle. Many people don’t buy into all those fake claims because most are not true. But, every once in a while there are some products that come along that are tried and true. RS*R’s Ran Up utilizes modern NASA technology in the way that Ran Up and NASA”s robotic lubricants are both ceramic powder based. Also, some cars in Japan’s Super GT race series have been using Ran Up for a long time now. If that isn’t enough, RS*R also uses it in their turbocharged Formula D Scion tC. RS*R also informed us that they have a dyno-proven 7hp gain on one of their employee’s Scion TC. We decided to do a quick test of our own too so we poured it into the ’06 Scion xB and our initial impressions were a smoother operating engine and better engine response. To quickly sum it up, Ran Up’s benefits are:

AME Classic JDM Wheels Clearance Sale

We’ll be clearing out 4 sets of wheels that we’ll have in stock here at the shop in Tempe. We will be offering these wheels to our local customer for pickup at about $290 per wheel ($1160/set). They are 4 sets of old school AME Gestalt Vourage and Nel Classe RCK wheels in stock on clearance. For all you that aren’t familiar with these wheels, they were discontinued a long time ago. These are probably the only brand new sets left in existence. Even finding a used set is very rare. They were some of the best wheels available back in the day and they still hold their own today. They are Japanese made, 3-piece, high quality chrome finished wheels. For those looking to do something a little different than the current popular wheels, here is your chance to pick up some high quality, rare wheels for the price of one 3-piece wheel. These are great for the 5×114.3 Scions as well as other small and midsize cars. However you can always have them rebarreled to a different width and offset since they are a 3-piece construction. WheelFlip in Southern California can do all 4 wheels starting at about $900. They can also make these 19″ wheels. Please contact them for more info.
